Book coincidences, how I love them

I pick up The Conference of Birds. The main bird is the hoopoe. I then pick up The Cuckoo's Calling, which has a young woman nicknamed Cuckoo. I begin to read A Game of You (Sandman #5) and discover a girl called Cuckoo. I pick up Haroun and the Sea of Stories. A few chapters in, there's a hoopoe and reference is made to The Conference of Birds.
